ABOUT US
In 1945, Andrew Reiner, an immigrant from Hungary, established what has become one of the most respected immigration law firms in New York. A pioneer in the field, Mr. Reiner, Sr. was instrumental in founding the organization now known as the American Immigration Lawyers Association. He went on to serve as both President of the national organization and later as President of the New York City Chapter.
Today, Andrew’s son Jan Allen Reiner continues to maintain the high ethical standards established by his father. He has been practicing immigration law and directing the firm for over thirty years.
- Mr. Reiner is one of the few New York City immigration attorneys that are AV®-rated by Martindale-Hubbell*-their highest rating
- He has been voted one of the Best Lawyers in the New York Metro Area, as seen in supplements to the New York Times, New York Magazine, and New York Law Journal
- Mr. Reiner and his associates often accept the most difficult and challenging immigration law cases; cases involving federal court litigation, family immigration, business and employment immigration, removal defense, U.S. asylum and immigration appeals
- The firm accepts clients from anywhere in the U.S. and abroad
Our firm is committed to keeping our clients well-informed about the status of their cases, acting in their best interest at all times, and making sure that our reputation as a first-rate immigration law firm continues well into the twenty-first century.
The firm’s professional reputation is built on the trust and respect of clients and peers in the legal community. Whether it’s keeping families united, adding qualified individuals to the U.S. work force, or securing a safe home, we believe that our work in immigration law not only improves the lives of individuals, but is part of what makes our own country strong.
